Meredith J. Gussin concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, insurance coverage, business torts and professional malpractice. She also has experience in employment litigation involving the defense of employers and landlords for claims arising under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, Title VII and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Her experience also includes real estate litigation and transactions, the negotiation and documentation of office and retail leasing, real estate closings and title work.
Ms. Gussin graduated from the University of Michigan in 1997 and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001. Before joining Assouline & Berlowe, Ms. Gussin practiced law with Carlton Fields, P.A. During law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Patricia A. Seitz and Magistrate Judge J. John O’Sullivan.
