She collaborates closely with senior management and business teams across development, marketing, corporate finance, and operations. She ensures risk mitigation and proper legal representation while navigating complex financial situations, including evidencing financial insolvency.
Her knowledge extends to the implications of security interests and the impact of industry-wide events, such as the Great Recession, Storm Uri, FERC, FDIC receivership, and loan rates in bankruptcy, which she leverages to optimize value creation for her clients. Shirley drafts and negotiates critical agreements and develops and implements strategies to maximize transaction value while minimizing potential negative impacts on company assets and operations.
Shirley's ability to stay current with privacy laws, information policies on copyright, blockchain, and cybersecurity positions her as a forward-thinking leader. She anticipates and guards against legal risks involving organizations, instilling confidence in her clients and colleagues.
Shirley's leadership within the legal community is evident in her active engagement in professional organizations and dedication to advancing financial literacy.
